Retention Bonus: This position has the opportunity for a retention bonus between $500 - $750, to be paid twice a year in February and October.

Wage Range: The starting hourly wage for this position is between $13.69 and $14.91


Position Summary: The Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for providing children ranging in ages from 6 weeks to 3 years, with learning experiences that promote school readiness. This includes creation and implementation of individualized lesson plans, development of meaningful relationships with children and families, and the design of safe, engaging environments.


Education Requirements: Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate, OR an associate, bachelor, or advanced degree in a non-related ECE field with training in infant-toddler development

Additional Requirements: Must be 21 years of age; valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record; and pass a physical, background check, and drug screen.
